    A very strange hand. Preflop here is inadequate and should be 4x iso. Flop too, why are you reraising? On the turn when he overbet the pot twice, folding is the right decision considering what action was on the flop

    There is nothing to be afraid of in this spot, as the SPR (stack to pot ratio, comparing the effective stack with a pot of $10/$3.6) is 2.7. If the SPR is below 3, you are autocommited with top pair good kicker in the vast majority of situations, so even if you were to call on the turn, the call must still be in the vast majority of situations. With QQ there's no point in making a call, but clearly Chinese, anything is possible: bluffs, random hands that "check" and nuts. You can argue that his range will tend to value, because NL10 on average is psychic, but the pot is too big in this situation to just fold with an overpair. If the SPR is 3-5, you are sometimes committed, sometimes not (situational), and if the SPR is 6+, you are playing a deep pot.

    Hi, against regular micro-limit players a safer line is justified because of the rare 3bet, but against fish max EV will be max value extraction. We can analyse two solutions: call and 4bet.

    Call has several problems:

    1. The SB will want to answer, which increases your chances of being outdrawn;

    2. The flop will often have an A or K and we won't have fun dealing with aggression

    3. We lose value against hands we dominate: 1010, JJ, AJ, AQ.

    4bet:

    1. We have the opportunity to take value out of the hands of the worse off by creating a bank size that commissions;

    2. If our 4bet oop calls, it will be easy to take the whole stack with an overpair+;

    3. We do not allow equity (A3 vs QQ , A3 has 33% equity);

    4. We do not play MW.

    I have seen even NL25 fish call 4bet without position with A10o or some other nonsense hand, so safety is no excuse and you should draw as much value as possible. Yes, sometimes he will have AA or KK, but it will be a relatively small part of his range. I'm talking on average, if after a few hundred hands that fish has been hit once, then the situation is different.

    If you get all-in, you have an easy call due to the pot odds and a villain shove range of JJ+/AJ+ and some random hands. If your 4bet and donkina call, the most important factor would be any size. Against 1/2 and smaller bet sizes, call, and against bigger bet sizes, fold. You can bluff with a bigger bet-size, but very often you will get a shove on the turn and have to fold if you don't have info on the aggression of the fish, so you might as well run the hand on the flop itself. And a smaller bet size gives us better pot odds to call and see if we get a check on the turn. But I don't expect a donk often in this situation, so I guess there's nothing to worry about.

    Pabales, I agree with you, but at the same time I will not agree with you. Nl2 players play for the thrill of it - yes, the most frequent player and the fish I agree with, but whether a player trying to go up in limits and nits will make a difference, I don't think. Playing ABC you will be an average winner, but why are good players who have come down from higher limits able to do 30bb/100 and more?

    In this hand, we have solid information on the villain - a 1.4k hand scoop. We can therefore already make some general assumptions:

    1.This is a tight passive varsor, maybe I should say even a rivet. However, if during this sample you noticed a light-fish call against your aggression, it will be a tight fish and the assumptions of a nit are not valid. And we play ABC. I will continue to analyse this hand as if it were a passive nite.

    2. You should already have good reads after this sample. But since you didn't specify anything, my analysis will be based on averages.

    You haven't shown what rank the goalkeeper plays from SB, so this will be just an assumption. I will take this rank as an example, because I think this player will be closer to nito than rego.

    Flop: All good here we can defend with the float idea (when we get a checka, we get Ahigh, small pairs).

    Turn: We go further with the float idea in mind and bet with the dead money capitalisation reason - thin bluff.

    River: I think he came to the river with pairs like 66+, good Ahigh and of course 10x, Jx. So our question is simple: what is he throwing against our bet? 66,77 , A high and KQ. Which would be about 50% of his total range. The rest I'm sure he will answer. So for us to win profitably here and not get a light call, we need to bet 2/3 of the pot. Of course, everything changes if he bets a second shot with good buys or throws Ahigh already on the turn. Then his river range is too strong for a bet. This means that you need very specific information to bet profitably here, so check. By the way, in 1.4k hands you can definitely have this information.

    NL2 is a limit that requires information to be aggressive and to have a bluffing range, without information we ALWAYS play ABC and draw value. Even if we have vpip and pfr, it doesn't mean it will start like nite or regas. Often it will be TAG-FISH, LAG-FISH and so on.

    I agree with the whitewashed, NL 2 in particular contains a lot of gamble. A fish is a fish at any limit, but at the lowest limits, where money hardly matters, most people just do a crap shoot. That's why everybody has nicknamed this limit "the circus". If you've ever watched a bankroll challenge of famous players, you'll notice that they have the hardest time adapting to NL2, when all the advanced concepts are thrown out the window. My opinion is that NL2 is about learning ABC and the concept of value draw.

    This is the Ps, which recently abolished effective rakeback. That means you don't know at the end of the month what kind of rakeback you'll have, because every generation will be different and even lower than before the upgrade (greedy af). Therefore, most of the rakeback grinder had to leave ps. What happens now is that you collect points to open chests. 1 chest point - 1 cent paid in rake. There are several important aspects:

    1. If you want more rakeback, you have the option to double your points once every 8 hours. But if you grind a lot of ps, it doesn't make a big difference in the final result. This effect is most useful for red and blue chests.

    2.If you reach a holiday weekend, for example, you may be knocked down one level or more to a lower chest. Bronze > blue.

    3. The odds of winning something spectacular are 1 in 10,000. For example: red $50, blue $100.

    4. The top table is the chests and rakeback received by regular opponents. The bottom table is the rakeback received by casual players. And the AVERAGE rakeback is indicated. This means that it is possible that for five chests in a row you will get nothing at all.

    Here's the short version. If you're interested in more, there's an unrealistic post on 2+2. In all cases, here is nonsense.

    Hello,

    Nl10 I agree that there is such an akward limit. From NL 25 onwards there are some pretty good opponents, and NL 5 is still pretty weak. As for reads, in NL 10 the most common opponent depends on the room itself, but in PS where I see the hands are drawn, we'll meet the ABC sight - Tag fish. Both of these opponents will still be quite passive and we can still respect aggression on average. But aggression does not equal aggression.

    1) Bluffing in that spot can usually be caused by an aggressive fish, bad eyesight or good aggressive eyesight. Why would a good sight bet there? Because he thinks he has a capped range (little or no nutty hands and lots of medium strength). Could there be a bluff? Absolutely. Did you play well? I think so. In this spot you need to play your range and make a GTO decision. As a rule, we will never drop our top range in any situation unless there is a player with zero bluffs, but this time we can't guarantee that. So you have to figure out where your range comes in QJ? Then just line up your rank on the river, what you can hold and with top range you respond. In an ideal world, we have to call and fold some on the flop, do the same on the turn and the same on the river. Let's say you have JJ, AQ,QJ, Q10, 1010 on the turn. Then before the turn you drop 1010,JJ and call with all queens. On the river you are left with AQ,QJ,Q10 . He bets pot size, so we need to defend the 50% range to avoid being exploited. AQ is called, QJ is called when we don't block both flushes and flip a coin (50/50) and Q10 is called. This is just an example of how this spot should be analysed.

    2) To build on the range - yes. That he will play a LITTLE hand to bluff with outs I doubt. The whole point of this situation is that we are not playing at a full table. The Regs and the lesser players, who are not used to short-handed play, have the belief that they must bluff a lot. This is because when you play with a short table you will see more aggression and the on-average looser has to respond because of this.

    3) Nothing special.

    4) Min-raise is almost always done by bad opponents. They are called checks and we can apply second pair, top pair and even buys. Of course there will be stronger hands, but the weight will be on the weaker ones. On the turn in my mind he would have second pair and a lot of top pair on any size.

    5) You answered the question yourself - very rarely. But the word rarely does not mean that you will never and sometimes see river aggression even from a passive fish.Because fish play according to their mood.

    6) Why can't he have 44 here? We defend all pairs from BB.QQ would 3bet, so I agree, but I doubt 99. 99 is only for value against stationus, and it doesn't make much sense to bluff. As for the stats , 2/17 is 11% , which falls in a pretty decent column. I think still samplas is pretty low to pay much attention to it. When you have at least 1000 hands with an opp , then you will be able to judge something. Another option , so what are you judging the opp from? Nowadays vpip/pfr stats 100% can't be sure, because there are even some kills that have seen one other video about preflop opening ranks. Let's say he is "regas" and in that spot he has 99,44 for value and A5s, J10s. With that rank, he is free to take that line. I would be willing to believe that he will miss the third one, hoping that it will work out. That 99 is 1 combo and 44 is 3 combos, which would make 4 combos in total. So if he bluffs only with A5s and J10s we get 2:4 or 1:2 , which allows us to call. And since you will be reraising sets yourself on the flop or on the turn because you are deepstacked, this is again your top range.

    If you play 888 snap, you don't have to show the hudo, but you can ring anyway. What poker format are you playing?Are the hands saved?

    Of course, the most important thing is not to lose motivation. I don't know, but I'll join in, maybe I'll be able to get and get some benefits 🙂

    Briefly what happened:
    So. It's been a week full of everything. It was the first week of playing after my vacation from poker, so it was kind of hard to get into the swing of things and to achieve my goals, but I'm not too nervous, because now I'll finally have a lot of time to do everything. Why? I finally got my studies back on track (it's getting heavy) and passed a few major events - the five-year anniversary of the University Students' Association and the birthday of a very good friend. As I love creative activities, we put on a play for this event all last week. We stayed at the university until dusk to make it as beautiful as possible. Everything seemed to be going well, but here in life you always have to park and spin your way out of a situation. When we arrived at the venue for the last rehearsal, we found out that the sound equipment was missing some kind of cord and we could only listen to the music that had no words. Super. One hour before the event starts and the promised equipment is not working. So you try to get away with it, but in the end we all decide to cancel the performance. A 20-minute etude three weeks in the making bam and faded away. It doesn't really feel good. I also had to run the event, so you take all the anger and continue to talk into the microphone, even though the swearing is not directed at the people in charge, who were supposed to be looking after the equipment. After the event, we immediately went to the sauna with a jacuzzi, which took away the bad emotions. In reality, I spent 2/3 of the whole party in that jacuzzi exhausted :D. Saturday came and I had to get out of bed to celebrate a friend's birthday. On the day we had created a challenge program for him, where we would challenge him to cut a rasta in 1 minute, to hold an anthill in his hand (without breaking the structure of the anthill itself, of course), to hug a stranger and so on. In the evening, of course, we gathered in the flat and celebrated the anniversary in the traditional way. I won't say anything about Sunday, because I actually lay in bed all day, barely alive.
    Poker:
    I have played both NL10 and NL25. Depending on how I felt and whether there were some very good tables at NL25 level with good and cute fish.
    7.5h/20h - played (red numbers - weekend)
    7h/10h - studying
    1/5 - hand analysis

    Untitled

    Hand #1
    Villain1 opens 50c mp (As far as I have seen it is quite tight and closer to nito than Tago, but definitely not a fish, no more info)
    Villain 2 calls from but (Weak Tag, rather passive in 15 hands or so)
    Hero completes BB . Hero has AQo (I didn't want to 3betint so I don't have to play 3b post op when I don't know yet if I can turn it into +ev so I wanted to wait for more info from villain)
    Flop 5c9c3d and all check (I check my entire range in this situation)
    T 5s
    My point is that realistically both villains don't have enough time to do anything and bet should take the pot, and if I get a call I'm willing to bet the river 100 percent of the time in this spot because I think I'll be up against a low pp, fd, broadways type of rank very often. I bet 60 percent of the pot and get a call from the preflop raiser.
    R 10s
    Real brick. His rank is very capped, of course he could have 99 which crushed the flop and turn or a 5 in his hand, but in general I thought he'd be more likely to have weak rank. But for siz, I would think a pot size bet or overbet would work best. Since I know that preflop is tighter than tag, but it might not be a nit, I chose to overbet 1.5 times (I only overbet bluffs against such opponents, but I haven't played with this opponent much so I haven't thought about balancing yet). He tanked and eventually called with Ako (A high). I don't know, overall I like my play, what do you think?
    It's a real pity that I just completely forgot to take my hands off, I hope to be better able to take pictures of my hands next week and discuss them with you later.
