The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) festival has started in the Bahamas, kicking off this year with the $25,000 buy-in PokerStars Holdem Players Championship (PSPC). This tournament has already broken a record, as 1040 players registered for such a buy-in event. PokerStars contributed significantly to this record by distributing 320 packages through various promotions. Combining all the buy-ins and the additional million added for the winner by PokerStars, the total prize pool amounted to 26.5 million dollars.
Eight Lithuanians started in this tournament, and you can read about their progress in the first day's review and the second day's review. Yesterday, on the third day, three of our players, Vladas Tamašauskas, Tomas Jazonis, and Laurynas Levinskas, started. The first Lithuanian to leave the tournament before reaching the paid places was Vladas Tamašauskas. He wrote on his social media account, “Stopped at 205th place. Bluffed everything on the third hand of the day. I would play the situation the same way again, just ran into a monster.” Unlike Vladas, Tomas Jazonis made it to the paid places and exited the tournament in 89th place, earning a $45,700 prize. On the fourth day, we will have someone to cheer for, as Laurynas Levinskas, who started the day with the smallest stack among the Lithuanians, successfully increased his chip stack and ended the day with 895,000 (18BB). Today, 38 poker professionals will continue the battle.
