Roulette Game – Inside Bets
Here, you are allowed not only to bet on a single number but also to make any combination of bets on individual numbers and groups of numbers (up to six numbers).
Single Number (Eng. Straight). The betting board is divided into colorful, numbered squares. You can bet on squares numbered 1-36. The payout for betting on a number is 1 to 35, i.e., if we bet 1 euro on square 21 and win – we are paid 35 euros.
Two Numbers (Eng. Split). The possibility to bet on several numbers and win a larger payout is achieved by this betting method. You can place a chip on two adjacent numbers vertically and horizontally. The payout in this case is 1 to 17.
Street (Eng. Street). Two numbers still too few? No problem – you can make a so-called street bet and include three numbers, with a payout of 1 to 11. The chip should be placed at the bottom of the three squares (column) and should not intersect with another bottom square.
Double Street or 6 Numbers (Eng. Six Line). If you place the chip so that it crosses the bottom squares of two columns – you will win a smaller amount – 1 to 5.
Corner (Eng. Corner). You can cover 4 squares by placing the chip at the intersection of 4 squares. The payout for this bet is 1 to 8.
Trio (Eng. Trio). This is a bet that includes zero, located on the left side of the betting board. The chip is placed to cover zero and two other numbers.
Basket (Eng. Basket). In this case, the bet is placed on the corner unit, zero, and the first row of numbers.

This section consists of bets on various pairs – rows and columns, even and odd, black and red squares, etc.

Red (Eng. Red) or Black (Eng. Black). As you have noticed, all numbers are marked with different colors – some black, others red. In this case, again, you bet on the color you prefer that day – maybe you'll get lucky? The payout is again the same – 1 to 1.

Labouchere System

History of Roulette: How It All Started
The history of roulette dates back to ancient times. Although there are no exact facts about its origins, a game similar to roulette was definitely played by the ancient Chinese people. One of the origins of roulette can be traced back to the E. O. Game. E and O stand for even and odd. The appearance of this game’s wheel was very similar to the current roulette wheel. It is also often said that the author of roulette is the famous French physicist Blaise Pascal.
However, this is likely only partially true. He did indeed invent something very similar to the roulette wheel, applying formulas that were analyzed by casinos to assess probabilities. Thus, Pascal certainly left his mark on the history of casinos and roulette.
In the 17th century, the game spread to French casinos. By the end of the century, there was already a zero and a double zero. One was red, the other black, so it was essentially different from the current roulette, but the zeros were still intended to ensure the casino's advantage.
