The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) festival has begun on the island of the Bahamas, starting this year with the $25,000 buy-in PokerStars Hold'em Players Championship (PSPC). This tournament has already broken a record, as 1,040 players registered for such a buy-in tournament. PokerStars contributed significantly to this record by distributing 320 packages through various promotions.

Eight Lithuanians traveled to Paradise Island in the Bahamas, either not sparing the $25k buy-in or winning a package online. They will compete in this tournament with other poker enthusiasts and professionals. On the first day, 6 out of the 8 starting Lithuanians successfully advanced. Three of our players, Jonas Ramanauskas, Tomas Steponavičius, and Mindaugas Povilaitis, won “Platinum Passes” online; unfortunately, only J. Ramanauskas made it to the second day, finishing the day with 82,600 chips.

In addition to these three qualifiers, Dominykas Karmazinas, Tomas Jozonis, Laurynas Levinskas, Vladas Tamašauskas, and Matas Cimbolas also started in this tournament. Dominykas performed the best among them, ending the day with a stack of 107,600 chips. T. Jozonis was not far behind, finishing the day with 102,600. Laurynas Levinskas ended the first day with 77,300, Vladas Tamašauskas with 65,700, and Matas Cimbolas will carry 56,600 into the second day.
