63 buy-ins (17 re-entries) marked the last side event of the “Poker School” and “Olympic Casino” organized “Knock-out festival.”
The main event will start today at 6 PM, and yesterday's game progressed quickly.
The first player was eliminated in the second level, and then everyone fell like a house of cards – by 10 PM, only two tables were left.
At the final table, the blinds reached 4,000 / 8,000 / 1,000. Players had an average of 140,000 chips, with Domas Cibarauskas leading with 417,000.
The unluckiest was Mindaugas Šatkauskas, who went all-in pre-flop with QQ and lost to Erikas Pakalniškis' AK, as the latter got another king. Thus, M. Šatkauskas lost all his 25,000 chips.
The game at the final table lasted an hour and a half. When three players were left, they decided to split the money, as they had a similar number of chips and decided to play only for the trophy.
In the heads-up situation with 15/30 thousand blinds, Domas faced Žydrius Tartenis. 800,000 against 420,000 chips. The battle lasted about an hour, but Domas with K10 went all-in against Žydrius' K7. The cards on the table gave Domas a straight and the trophy.
It went to D. Cibarauskas.
Winners:
- Domas Cibarauskas – 1000 EUR and a trophy,
- Žydrius Tartenis – 1160 EUR,
- Rimvydas Mačiulis – 1000 EUR.
The winner collected 8 “heads.”
