Probably one of the most well-known e-sports organizations in the world has been going through tough times for several years in a row. 2-3 years ago, it was undeniably the strongest LCS team, but in recent years it has ceded its place to Team Liquid and Cloud 9. This year's TSM roster received significant investments aimed at bringing the team back among the best in North America, but things are not going as smoothly as many fans had hoped before the season.
Kobbe (Adc), Dardoch (Jungle), and the returning Biofrost (Support) joined the team during the offseason and are relatively some of the strongest players in their positions in this region. However, it takes time to build good team play, so TSM has been playing very inconsistently this season. This team is the only one to have defeated the strongest team in the region, Cloud 9 (17-1), and at times looks really great, but in the next match, TSM can lose to the weakest teams in the region without showing anything similar.
Such instability has resulted in the team finishing the regular season in just 5th place and potentially being eliminated from the playoffs without even reaching the semifinals. Nevertheless, this roster is definitely among the top 3 in the region, and Bjergsen, who remains the best midlaner in America, will surely do everything to ensure the team's journey in the playoffs does not end here.

The team that surprised all LOL fans last season is not slowing down this season either. Neither last year nor this year were high hopes placed on this team, and the roster at first glance looks like a group of familiar players who couldn't find their place in better teams. None of the team's players, in terms of individual skill, are among the best in their roles in the region. However, the team is well-prepared collectively, and in e-sports, as in any other sport, it is team play that wins matches.
FlyQuest, which was eliminated in the second round of the playoffs last season, added IgNar (Support), well-known in Europe, and PoverOfEvil (Midlane), who shone in the CLG team, during the offseason. These changes seem to have been beneficial, as both players feel they have found their place in the team and have integrated well into the team play.
The main gap in this team is the Top position, where there are currently 2 players: second-year V1per and Solo. V1per, who debuted in the LCS last season, immediately exceeded expectations and looked like a player who could potentially become one of the best Top laners in the LCS. However, this season everything has turned upside down. The player has completely lost his place, and the team looked much better when trying to play with the backup Top laner Solo.

This match will undoubtedly be close, and the winner will be determined by small details. FlyQuest looked absolutely tragic in the series against Evil Geniuses and had no chances at all. Meanwhile, TSM, although struggling, managed to eliminate the 100 Thieves, who finished the season in 3rd place. FlyQuest has not played well against stronger teams this season, and TSM is potentially a much stronger team. At the most crucial stage of the season, TSM should finally show the form expected of this team.
