Poker player styles
How does a player play poker? What is their style? We can briefly describe this using two words. First, we need to indicate how many cards the person plays; a player can play few cards (“tight”) or play many cards (“loose”). The second thing we need to define is how the person plays those cards, whether they play passively (“passive”) or aggressively (“aggressive”). Combining the first and second options, we get a total of four choices, four different extremes. 1. tight passive. 2. tight aggressive. 3. loose passive. 4. loose aggressive.
