"Cash Camp participant Aras: "I did more in three days than I have done since December"

"The Poker School camp near Trakai was a great success and the players were very satisfied. Well, we continue to share feedback and stories from the camp participants - without embellishments, just like they were.

Here's Aras, a 23-year-old student playing NL10 cash. He has been actively playing poker since December. So how did Aras end up in the camp?

"I'm an old member of the School of Poker and that's where I heard about the camp. I thought a lot about whether I could afford it, but now I don't really regret investing that kind of money, which is really big for me as a student," he said.

The student, who received praise from the coaches, seemed genuinely interested in learning as much as possible, so his answer to the question about the presentation of information and the workload was not surprising.

"I would say the information was a bit too slow, and sometimes the lessons were a bit late because someone went to the toilet or something like that. I could have picked up more information myself", he shared his thoughts.

"I have calculated that as a student I would be able to go up to NL20, which is almost enough to meet my student needs. I will invest a lot of time before September and hope to make a big progress. Already in these three days (interviews were conducted in the middle of the camp - note), I have done as much as I haven't done since December, when I started playing more actively. So the plan is to invest more time. Like many, I dream of going somewhere, playing live with people and that's it. I don't promise to be a poker pro" - these are his goals.

However, the investment was considerable. So why did he go for it?

"Poker is like a hobby for me now. It's really cool to have a hobby that can make you money. Plus, in poker there is no limit to what you can do, and a hobby should be one where you can always improve, always go up," said our interviewee and participant.
