Hey. Hey. He can so easily play KJ/KT/K9s/33 -> and he draws value from a very clear range that I represent, namely Qx and JJ/TT/99/8x.

Just because my range looks weak after 2 checks doesn't mean that opps with good hands will choose a lower range.

JT bets flop almost always, 44-77 very often just checks down to the river, as does AJ. So eas...[Read more]

Things have changed so much that it is no longer worth playing cash games there.

Whereas before with Gold or Platinum Status, NL25 or NL50 a player could still get ~20-25% rakeback, now it will be something like 3-10%. And the same rakeback will now be available from those "chests" not only in $ but also in all sorts of Tournament $, which makes it more difficult to cash out.

Since it's NL10 I could have called, but anyway Vs a good player Utg 3x, 22/33, there should be a Minimum-EV call Preflop. ( set mine is not as profitable as it used to be, and nehitinus playability is bad, and 3x is a big size, vs 2,5x we can call.

A good and only accurate choice, on such a super drawy board, is a great opportunity for us to get max value out of Jx/Tx, as we represent the draw pile ourselves. Also, vs our all in, op has no odds to call with hands like KQ or A9dd, which have ~20-25% equity here, while op needs to have ~35% here, so we get a great protectio...[Read more]

    4 bet Preflop.

As played, I think he should call the river, just for value he could play that way with AK, AQ, maybe AJ or even a weaker Ax.

    Why 4x Preflop?
Flop 4 way, we fold to that size right away, the hand is much weaker than it looks, and we won't go free until showdown asnt Turn/River.
    Turn fold.

Flop a bigger size , maximize your value vs 44-Q-Q
Turn , it's not ready to fold, a little combo, who beats us, and he can play like this with QQ/JJ maybe combo FD, so call,
River is looking again, according to sizing, timing...

    1. With these odds and player ranges, Flop Check is not a mistake, it is a theoretically solid choice.
    2. On the turn vs. such a size and such a relatively tight op, our AQ is a bluff catsher here, because he value bets here with minimum AK+ or bluffs so.. , bad spot already on the turn, almost Hero fold, but otherwise GTO call
    3. Riveris would fold, r...[Read more]

It's a bit more complicated than that, the question is first of all what is the Utg Open Sizzle? 2x, 2,5x , 3x? What is in the blinds? Is it aggressive good players or maybe big fish that would allow us to call wider.
Anyway vs 3x Utg we should play pretty tight, I think 22-55 are not profitable calls on solid lines. Also AJo/KQo .That pa...[Read more]

    1. Because 3bettor has a big range advantage on the K54f board, the optimal strategy for Button in this spot and on this board is to have no raising range.
Usually Kxx boards are much better for the 3bettor because he has all the A-K, and the 3bet Caller usually 4bet A-K preflop.

    2. Purely for balancing and total coverage of the board, s...[Read more]
