Two Lithuanians to appear on Day 3 of EPT Monte Carlo

The European Poker Tour (EPT) kicked off in Monaco on Monday. 11 Lithuanians have entered the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event. 6 of their compatriots made it through to the second day of the tournament. After the second day, two of the 6 compatriots were left, Dominykas Karmazinas and Vincas Tamašauskas, who spent most of the day at the TV table yesterday (watch from about 6 o'clock onwards).

A total of 922 players have registered for the EPT Monte Carlo €5,300 buy-in tournament and are competing for €4,471,700. After the first day, 6 out of 11 compatriots made it through to the second day. They are Dominykas Karmazinas, Tomas Jozonis, Vasilijus Piskunovas, Laurynas Levinskas, Vincas Tamashauskas and Arvydas Merfeldas. After the second day was played yesterday, Dominykas broke through to the third day with 105,000 and Vincas with 90,000 chip stacks, which is about 26 and 22 blinds respectively.
