On Monday, the European Poker Tour (EPT) stage started in Monaco. 11 Lithuanians participated in the EPT Monte Carlo main event. Six compatriots made it to the second day of the tournament. After playing the second day yesterday, only two of the six compatriots remained: Dominykas Karmazinas and Vincas Tamašauskas, who spent a large part of the day at the televised table (watch from around the 6th hour of the broadcast).
A total of 922 players registered for the €5,300 buy-in event at EPT Monte Carlo, competing for €4,471,700. After the first day, six out of the 11 Lithuanians advanced to the second day. These were Dominykas Karmazinas, Tomas Jozonis, Vasilijus Piskunovas, Laurynas Levinskas, Vincas Tamašauskas, and Arvydas Merfeldas. After playing the second day yesterday, Dominykas advanced to the third day with 105,000 chips and Vincas with 90,000 chips, which is about 26 and 22 big blinds, respectively.
