“The Chest” will remain the main engine of awarded bonuses, but the prizes are already fixed. Each “Chest” in the bonus program has a fixed prize amount, starting from $0.50 (Blue Chest) and reaching a maximum of $250 (Black Chest).
This means that every player, whether winning or losing, will be able to receive at least 15% bonuses. Further, by collecting more and more points, higher chests will be unlocked, which will be the same for all players to create a more transparent and fair system for all players, without distinguishing individual rewards.
For example, to unlock the “Blue Chest,” players will need to collect 333 bonus points by generating $3.33 rake, thus receiving a $0.50 bonus. This points-based system will apply to all PokerStars players regardless of their profile.
Meanwhile, to unlock the “Silver Chest,” which is worth $5 (17.5% cashback), players will need to collect 2850 bonus points. The higher the value of the Chest, the more points will be needed to unlock it. The most expensive Chest, requiring 100000 points, is the “Black Chest,” worth $250 (25% cashback, the highest possible).
To reach a higher Chest, you will need to unlock Chests from 5 to 10 times. For example, a player with a “Blue Chest” will need to unlock 5 Chests to reach a higher level; 7 – to move from Silver to Gold; 10 – to move from Diamond to Black, etc.
