Partypoker blocked 94 dishonest player accounts and will return $182K to players

The Partypoker security team, while investigating suspicious activities at the poker tables, closed 94 suspicious accounts and will refund players more than $182K.

The money found in the accounts of blocked players will be distributed to the players who were affected by these programmed cheaters. $143,908.10 will go to players playing on Partypoker.com, and the remaining amount of €34,546.17 will go to players on Partypoker.eu.

Catching dishonest players is part of partypoker's mission to make this site a great place to play poker. This information is based solely on April's results. The investigation has been ongoing for 4 months since December 1st. By April, a total of 277 accounts had been closed and $734,852 distributed to players.

Players have their role in this investigation

The accounts of 20 out of 94 players were closed because real players noticed strange gameplay and reported it to the Partypoker security team, who took action and blocked the accounts. The poker room encourages players to continue reporting such players, and every report will be investigated.

The security team consists of former poker professionals who are competent and recognize players who behave according to certain set patterns and do not act like humans. This team will continue to block players and inform players about account closures and refunds on a monthly basis.
