PartyPoker has particularly exciting news for poker players! From July 17 to September 8, the $100M GTD WPT World Online Championships tournament series will take place.

Main Events

The WPT tournament series will run for almost two months, but it is likely that the most attention from players will be drawn to the 12 scheduled Championship tournaments (5 of them with Champions Club status). Each Championship event will consist of three different levels: main, mini, and macro.

The buy-in amount for them will start from $33.00, making these tournaments accessible to many players. Additionally, players can expect new Championship tournament formats each week, including PLO, Knock Out, 8-MAX, 6 MAX, Mix MAX, etc.

The most anticipated tournaments:

  • $10,300 buy-in WPT Main Event $10M GTD – September 5;
  • $25,500 buy-in WPT High Roller Championship $10M GTD – September 12;
  • $102,000 buy-in WPT Super High Roller Championship $5M GTD – September 16;
  • Every weekend from August 1, there will be $3,200 buy-in WPT Championship $3M GTD tournaments;
  • Various $1M GTD tournaments will be held on weekends from July 18 to July 26.

How to win a ticket to the tournaments?

PartyPoker offers its players several different ways for those who want to win tickets to the biggest WPT series tournaments:

  • Satellites – from July 12, various “satellite” type tournaments are being held where you can win tickets to Championship events. Buy-ins for satellites start from $3.30;

  • WPTWOC SPINS – players have the opportunity to win tickets to Championship tournaments by playing $10 buy-in spins;
  • Until July 16, special “Drops” tournaments are being held, where the winner can win a ticket to WPT Championship tournaments.

WPT Player of the Championship and Rising Star

Throughout the WPT series, players will be able to collect points and compete for additional prizes. To collect WPT Player of the Championship points, you will need to play in tournaments with a buy-in of $320 or more and finish in the “money” places. The player with the most points will win $50,000.

Meanwhile, if you play in lower buy-in tournaments ($300 or less), you can compete for the WPT Rising Star title. The player with the most points will receive a $10,000 prize.
