Americas Cardroom adds $120,000 to Step tournaments each month to increase your chances of winning a ticket. The very first Step 1 tournament is not only free, but also takes place six times every day at 05:00, 09:00, 13:00, 17:00, 21:00 and 01:00 local time. Here's how these Step tournaments work:
- Step 1 (six daily tuners with 0$ buy-in) - play for 113 buy-ins to Step 2
- Step 2 ($6.61 buy-in) - play for 25 Step 3 seats (probability 1 in 2.75 )
- Step 3 ($16.51 buy-in) - play for 15 Step 4 seats (Chances 1 to 3.6)
- Step 4 ($55.01 buy-in) - play for 6 Step 5 seats (Chances 1 to 3.9)
- Step 5 ($215.01 buy-in) - play for 5 Step 6 seats (Chances 1 to 3.15)
- Step 6 ($630.01 buy-in) - Play for 1 Venom seat in the Main Event (Chances 1 to 4.41)
If you get knocked out of a Step 1 tournament, there's nothing stopping you from starting again. Of course, you can speed up the process and buy-in to a later Step tournament with a higher buy-in.
