The Coronavirus pandemic has significantly impacted sports competition schedules worldwide. Many events have been postponed, canceled, or held without spectators to prevent the spread of the virus. Leagues and organizations have had to adapt by implementing health protocols, rescheduling matches, and sometimes creating “bubble” environments to safely continue competitions. Additionally, the pandemic has led to changes in training routines and travel restrictions, affecting athletes’ preparation and participation in events.

Sports competition schedules around the world are further disrupted and destroyed by the coronavirus. Naturally, this directly affects the sports betting market. For at least the next few weeks, the supply of sports competitions will be much narrower than usual.
