With two games to go, Switzerland is third in the group with 11 points. They will face Georgia and Gibraltar, while first-placed Ireland and Denmark are still to play each other, and with only one game to go, Switzerland would be assured of qualifying for EURO 2020, possibly even from first place, with two wins. As for Georgia, they are in fourth place in the group and with one game to go, they have no chance of progressing further. Switzerland looked really good at home in this qualifying round, winning two games and drawing with Denmark. Georgia only scored away against Gibraltar, and even then it was a very difficult match for them. We won't see Schar, Freuler, Drmic and Gavranovic in the Swiss squad today, but given the depth of the squad, this shouldn't be a problem.
