Six-time WSOP bracelet winner and second in all-time poker earnings, announced these career changes in a Twitter message.

This statement was made just one day after his wedding to Amanda Leatherman and less than a week before the 2019 WSOP championship.

“Daniel was one of the most prominent promoters of the PokerStars room and he did it for 12 years. It was a pleasure to watch his enthusiasm, passion, and support over all these years,” said Rebecca McAdam. “We wish Daniel all the best in the future, harmony in his family, and a great summer.”

Negreanu joined the PokerStars team in June 2007 and quickly became the most recognizable person on the team, which also included Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Barry Greenstein, Bertrand Grospellier, and Humberto Brenes.

In turn, PokerStars expressed their gratitude to their long-time team member with this message:

“Daniel was one of the most prominent promoters of the PokerStars room and he did it for 12 years. It was a pleasure to watch his enthusiasm, passion, and support over all these years,” said Rebecca McAdam. “We wish Daniel all the best in the future, harmony in his family, and a great summer.”
