BetSafe follows the strategy of the biggest poker rooms and has recently added a new format, Monster Spins, to its game offering. Monster Spins is based on the principles of the PokerStars Spin & Go format that many are familiar with:
- The game is 3-handed.
- Starting stack 25bb.
- The tournament payout is based on a multiplier structure.
Monster Spins are different from most traditional Spin & Go formats due to their ultra-short blind structure and smaller rake. In traditional Spin & Go formats, the blinds typically rise every 3 minutes. In contrast, all Monster Spins levels and multiplier sizes have blinds every 1 minute. The 1-minute blinds mean that the games will be extremely short, as each level will usually have no more than 3 hands played.
The rake is the same for all Monster Spins limits - 5%. Many other rooms, such as Winamax and PokerStars, have an average rake of between 6 and 7 percent. In the PokerStars Spin & Go room, the 5% rake is only offered on a few of the highest limits.
Monster Spins is currently only offered as Texas Hold 'Em, but Betsafe plans to add Omaha and Open-Face Chinese options in the future.
