BetSafe follows the strategy of the largest poker rooms and has recently added a new format, Monster Spins, to its game offerings. Monster Spins is based on the principles of the well-known PokerStars Spin & Go format:
- The game is played 3-handed.
- Starting stack is 25bb.
- The tournament payout is based on a multiplier structure.
Monster Spins stands out from many traditional Spin & Go formats with its extremely short blind structure and lower rake. In traditional Spin & Go formats, blinds usually increase every 3 minutes. Meanwhile, in all Monster Spins levels and multiplier sizes, blinds increase every 1 minute. One-minute blinds mean that games will be very short, as no more than 3 hands are usually played at each level.
In all Monster Spins limits, the rake is the same – 5%. In many other rooms, such as Winamax or PokerStars, the average rake is between 6 and 7 percent. In the PokerStars room, the 5% rake is offered only for a few of the highest limits.
Monster Spins is currently only offered as Texas Hold ‘Em, but Betsafe plans to add Omaha and Open-Face Chinese options in the future.
