$1M GTD XL Spring Series at 888Poker starts May 30!

Even though spring is coming to an end, 888Poker has decided to hold a series called $1M GTD XL Spring Series. It starts on 30 May and runs until 6 June. at least $1 000 000 will be paid.

To ensure that their tournament series does not clash with those of their main competitors, 888Poker has announced that the XL Spring Series will have an unusually late start on 30 May. Series total will take place over 8 days and while it will be similar to the XL Winter Series, players will also encounter a few different features:

  • The Main Event will be a regular MTT no progressive knockouts, and players will be able to make 3 re-entries instead of 4;
  • on average, tournaments will have $21,000 guaranteed prize fund which is 25% more than at the Winter Festival;
  • Although the tournaments will have larger prize pools, there will be fewer tournaments (25 instead of 34).

It is also worth highlighting the main tournaments in the series:

  • 30 May XL Spring $50,000 GTD Opening Event with $55 buy-in;
  • 1 June XL Spring $50,000 GTD High Roller with $320 buy-in;
  • 3 June XL Spring $40,000 GTD PKO 8-Max with $160 buy-in;
  • 6 June XL Spring $500,000 GTD Main Event with $250 buy-in.

Players will also be able to enter the Main Event of the series access via satellitesStarting soon, 888Poker cash players will also have the chance to earn tickets to various tournaments in the series through random Gift Drop bonuses.
