Live lesson: MTT hand analysis + Q&A
Live MTT lesson, where coach “Ddaubar” analyzes students’ submitted hands and answers questions:
- PokerStars.fr requires bank details, what do they need to be sent?
- How to best play against completely loose players with a VPIP of 40+?
- How many chips should be added in KO tournaments for a head? When collecting?
- Does the Holdem Manager 2 small stakes version track $22 buy-in tournaments?
- What are the main scenarios when you raise into one opponent, having position in postflop play?
I currently have in my arsenal:
Scenario 1. For value (on any street), when we have a strong hand, and we are playing against a LAG who can 4-bet.
Scenario 2. On the flop – when the opponent bets small (~1/3 pot), the board is drawy or has 2 high cards, and we suspect that the opponent’s bet is a thin value bet or a regular cbet without hitting. It’s best if we also have some value in our hand. But then we need to be prepared for another barrel on the turn + have fold equity on our side, the ideal case being when we threaten the opponent with elimination from the tournament. This scenario usually doesn’t work when the opponent has a big stack, as they proportionally make looser calls.
What other scenarios are possible?
