On Wednesday, the Unibet Open Bucharest 2018 festival began. This festival consists of numerous tournaments with buy-ins ranging from 90 euros to 2200 euros. The main event, with a buy-in of 1100 euros, is divided into three starting days. Yesterday, 149 players registered for Day 1A, including Lithuanian Unibet Ambassador Daiva “Baltic_blonde” Byrne. Unfortunately, Daiva's game did not go well, and she was eliminated in 73rd place on Day 1A. Daiva also did not succeed in the women's tournament.

Today, 273 players started on Day 1BC, including three Lithuanians: Deividas Rinkevičius, Vladas Tamašauskas, Simonas Eigminas.

Two Lithuanians managed to advance to the second day. Deividas Rinkevičius finished the day with 129,500 chips, while Vladas Tamašauskas moved on to the second day with 67,500 chips.

On the second day, the Lithuanians had mixed results. Vladas Tamašauskas had to admit that his opponents were stronger, while Deividas Rinkevičius was among the 18 players who made it to the third day with the second-to-last chip count of 470,000.

In the final day, Deividas couldn't achieve anything miraculous and, holding AT, ran into his opponent's QQ from the Czech Republic. With the community cards showing J6975, Deividas had to settle for 16th place and a prize of €5,870.

The tournament winner was Russian Anton Vinokurov, who won €103,060.
