„Kings of Tallinn“ festival, Lithuanian poker masters earned over €40K

AT THE “KINGS OF TALLINN” FESTIVAL, LITHUANIANS FARED BETTER IN SIDE EVENTS
The largest poker series in the region, “Kings of Tallinn,” concluded in the Estonian capital, usually attracting at least a few dozen Lithuanian poker masters. This year, our players did not reach the main event final, but they showcased several solid results in the side events.

BIGGEST LITHUANIAN WIN – HIGH ROLLER FINAL
February solidified Vincas Tamašauskas as the Baltic region's High Roller specialist. A couple of weeks ago, he triumphed in the Betsafe Fisherman's Challenge €1K High Roller battle, and over the weekend, he earned another five-figure win in the most expensive “Kings of Tallinn” fight.

In total, players made 68 entries in the “Kings of Tallinn” festival's “High Roller” tournament with a €3,000 buy-in, creating a prize pool of €184,000. Prizes were distributed among the top 7 competitors, including V. Tamašauskas. The Lithuanian finished in 4th place, earning €18,400, while the tournament winner from the Netherlands, Teun Mulder, took home an impressive €62,700.

In the Betsafe Fisherman's Challenge €1,000 High Roller tournament held on February 7th, players made 52 entries, and V. Tamašauskas won the trophy and the €16,100 main prize. In the final duel, he defeated another well-known poker professional, Gytis Lažauninkas.

4 LITHUANIANS CLAIMED MAIN EVENT PRIZES
As usual, the €1,100 main event attracted the most attention at the “Kings of Tallinn” festival, gathering 375 entries this time. About fifty Lithuanians tested their skills here, and six of them made it to Day 3, where the fate of the 34 prize winners was decided.

Vasilijus Piskunovas and Aleksandras Rusinovas were eliminated before the bubble burst, while the remaining 4 Lithuanian representatives won prizes but failed to secure a stronger position. Martynas Račinskas (28th place) and Edvinas Urnikis (25th) each won €2,740, while Paulius Jucys (24th) and Edgaras Kancaitis (17th) received €2,950 payouts.

The tournament champion was Latvian Vitalijs Zavarotnijs, who took home €85,300.
