The WSOP's return to Las Vegas this year is almost 100% guaranteed. More recently The schedule for the series is announced, with 88 tournamentsand the conditions for player registration have been announced.

The biggest break in WSOP history (26 months) is coming to an end. Up until now, there has been speculation as to when this year's WSOP would take place, or if it would take place at all, but Executive Director Ty Stewart has reassured players by announcing that Rio Casino Las Vegas to host WSOP 2021. The series will start 30 September and runs until 23 November.

A total of 88 gold bracelet tournaments will be organised, including buy-ins will range from $400 to $250,000:

  • 51 Hold'em bracelets;
  • 13 bracelets for mixed games (Dealer's Choice; 8-Game, H.O.R.S.E, etc.);
  • 13 Omaha bracelets;
  • 6 Stud bracelets;
  • 5 Draw bracelets.

Registration for these tournaments will open in August on Bravo Poker Live and in Las Vegas. And also, WSOP.com and GGPoker rooms to feature satellitesso many players will have a chance to qualify for the main tournaments.

This year's series will feature 8 new tournaments, the biggest of which will be $500 buy-in The Reunion with $5M prize pool on 1 October. And of course, players' favourite tournaments will return, such as the Colossus, Millionaire Maker and the $10K buy-in Main Event, which is scheduled to kick off on 4 November.
