Why am I learning and not improving, absorbing the information, and using it at the table? Is there something wrong with me? Just as in poker we use strategies to win against our opponents, so we need to learn by applying certain strategies. However, it is not Soviet times to read or watch the same information over and over again until it is memorised. By using the latest learning strategies, we can start to develop effective learning techniques and improve much faster in all areas. In this two-part lesson, the trainer will introduce visualisation techniques, the basics of mnemonics, the essence of review, the principles of mind mapping, and general tips from his own experience on how to learn more effectively.
