The €220 buy-in Betsafe Fisherman's Challenge Main Event kicks off today with €100,000 GTD!

Long awaited, planned for spring and postponed to autumn, Lithuania's most important poker festival of the year started today! This year, the Fisherman's Challenge Main Event will again feature a guaranteed prize pool of at least €100,000. Players can choose from as many as 9 starting days in the Main Event, so you can still catch the biggest poker event in Lithuania.

The Fisherman's Challenge 2020 Poker Festival officially opened on 8 October (yesterday) at the Olympic Casino Poker Club in Vilnius. The event kicked off with the €110 buy-in WarmUp KnockOut tournament, which attracted 127 poker enthusiasts and was won by well-known poker pro Karolis Sereika.

Today (9 October) at 11:00, Day 1A of the Main Event started. As mentioned, there are 9 starting days this year, but the interest in live poker is extremely high. The first five starting days A, B, C, D and E have been fully booked by tournament-hungry players, so it's now time to either go to the waiting list, or take a seat on the other starting days F, G, H or I.

  • Day F - Sunday, 11 October, 20:00
  • Day G - Monday, 12 October at 12:00
  • Day H - Tuesday 13 October at 11:00
  • Day I - Wednesday 14 October, 11:00
