There is no doubt that Madrid will be a much tougher place to play than Istanbul, but it is even more encouraging that Anadolu Efes has already played Real Madrid away this season and won relatively easily - 108:83. In the second half, Anadolu Efes scored 67 points, which was the reason for the huge lead. This game was played just a few weeks ago, so it just illustrates once again that Anadolu Efes is the clear favourite going into the game in Madrid.

Despite the huge gaps between the teams in the first two games of the series, the third meeting in Madrid should be a closer affair. Real will certainly try to put up a fight, as for an organisation of this level, a third consecutive defeat would be simply unforgivable, and a change within the team would surely follow (which is already likely regardless of how this series ends). Meanwhile, Anadolu Efes is currently the most dominant team in the Euroleague playoffs, and with a bloodied opponent throughout the season, Efes is looking like a very good opponent. Despite the fact that Real will definitely try to extend the series, Anadolu Efes will be the favourites in this game and should be able to close out the series in terms of the realistic capabilities of the teams.
