"PokerSchool 2017. A big step forward - thank you!

Last year 2017 was the most successful year for the Poker School and its team. Thanks to you, we have implemented many innovations, discovered even more ideas and enjoyed the fruits of our labour all the time.

The year has passed quickly, but we've made a lot of memories. So let's take a look at what we remember most about last year.

January

Last January was memorable because we started live-streaming the lessons, where participants could ask the coaches questions to accelerate their development. We had been running these lessons for most of the year, but finally decided to replace them with a different type of educational content.

April

We had a slow start to the year, but it was only a start. In April, we launched a series of articles on films related to poker and gambling. It turns out that even the biggest fanatics discovered something they had never seen before. 🙂 If you don't know what to watch on a quiet winter's evening, you'll find all the articles at the link below.

The idea of encouraging your activity was born, so we started organising competitions. One of them is a blogging competition with a chance to win €100. You can read the blogs (and, of course, write them yourself!) in our forum.

As well as live lessons, we broadcast a whole host of other things. One of the events we broadcast was the Lithuanian Online Poker Championship, which, if you remember, was won by none other than "Poker School employee - it's very nice to remember!

Also this month, we've started another series of articles about famous people - athletes, actors and other stars - who have poker as part of their lives. You can read this series of articles, by clicking here.

June

We'd probably all like to visit Las Vegas, but not all of us have done so yet. Our curiosity has been satisfied by Martynas "Buda", who shared a vlog straight from the USA. Martynas talked not only about how it was to play, but also about other topical issues such as leisure time and prices. You can see it all for yourself: link to articles.

July

We've extended our newsletter to offer each of you the opportunity to earn money by participating in our website membership programme. This programme is still valid, so it's not too late to become a member, just follow the video and the instructions in this link.

The whole summer was full of innovation. One of them is BetItAll.com poker betting system tested. If you've tried it too, please share your impressions 😉

Of course, the highlight of the summer was the Cash camp near Trakai. Good company, a great attitude to learn and a lot of knowledge gained! It was the first poker camp of its kind in Lithuania, and we can all be happy with the results!

August

In the last month of summer, we launched what you've been enjoying so far - a series of freerolls in the 888poker Room. You've all grown to love these tournaments. We started with just $50 and now we've got even bigger prizes, more tournaments, live streams and a freeroll league!

August marked the start of our live streams on 888poker - you were active, so we're continuing.

We organised another competition to show our support for Lithuanian basketball and gave away a season ticket to a Vilnius Lietuvos Rytas game.

We also held our very first community meeting. It was a lot of fun and there should be more of them!

September

We've added BetSafe, BestPoker and PartyPoker rooms to our list of freerolls. However, only the latter has attracted more interest from you, so it's the PartyPoker and 888poker rooms that are currently offering the best conditions.

After the success of the summer Cash Game Camp, we didn't wait long to turn our attention to the MTT Camp, which took place in the same venue and was very beneficial to everyone.

We have also launched the SpinuMokykla.com project with our partners, which you can join now to learn how to play Spin&Go. You've watched the top spin coaches play live on Facebook and Twitch many times. The team has now reached almost 40 members and a Christmas party was held at the end of the year. How cool is that? 🙂

October

We played, announced and invited everyone to take part in the Knock-out Festival at Olympic Casino. The week-long tournaments attracted many of Lithuania's most famous poker players. There was no shortage of good cheer and some really big prize money for Lithuania!

November

To celebrate your interest in 888poker freerolls, we have launched the "Poker School Freeroll League" with a prize pool of USD 2,000. The Main Event is now over and we look forward to January 7, when the winners of the final tournament will be revealed!

December

The end of the year was crowned by another initiative - a charity poker event organised by us and the sports poker club "Du Karaliai".

What else have we done? It's hard to tell you everything! We welcomed two new coaches - Vytautas Špakauskas and Rokas Raškevičius. They made sure that you get even more useful content, and we had a lot of it! In the past year, our database has grown by even 240 new video lessons!

The SpinuMokykla.com trainers have also made a significant contribution by sharing their content with our students. And the latter (as far as we're concerned) managed to achieve some pretty good results. Here's a story about one of our students' achievements.

We've hosted live streams of our coaches and guest speakers, donated tickets to tournaments, added some great colleagues to our team and we're not stopping now.

PokerSchool.com is growing and we are proud to have made such a step forward in 2017. For those of you who are with us, we can promise you that 2018 will be no different - we'll be innovating again, delivering great value, and working hard to keep the project alive and growing!
