The Plus Session podcast: on self-criticism, money and becoming a rule

"Plus Session" - Lithuania's first poker podcast. In the very first session, MTT strategy, changes in the poker world and many other topics are discussed by well-known poker professionals "dartazzzz" and "bagoch". Listeners will hear answers to many questions about poker careers, high-stakes and the future of the game.

Poker Podcast Plus Session

The Plus Session podcast answers many important questions about poker: how many minus sessions should you go down in limits? How many buy-ins do MTT high stakes start with? How does bankroll management change as a player's age changes? Is it worth playing poker full-time in 2020? Find out the answers to all these questions in this "Plus Session" series.

There is no shortage of poker podcasts in English and other languages, but there has always been a lack of video and audio material in Lithuania. Andrius "benislovas" Bielskis has been planning a Lithuanian podcast for a long time, and achieved this goal at the end of January. A few weeks ago, the Lithuanian poker community was able to enjoy the first "poker strategy" series. Mantas "bagoch" Bagočius and Tomas "dartazzzz" Jozonis were invited to the podcast.

In the first episode, Andrius Bielskis discusses with these MTT experts a wide range of issues of importance to poker amateurs and professionals. Listeners will hear dartazzzz and bagoch's advice for those pursuing a career in poker (and whether it's still worth pursuing), the change in bankroll management, and the possible poker earnings. Tomas Jozonis and Mantas Bagochius also assess the difficulty of MTT highstakes, what buy-ins are available in HS, and what a player needs to stay at the top level of the game.

Of course, there is also a great deal of discussion on the direct poker strategy and non-career issues. Tom and Mantas talk about the start of their careers, learning, rising (and falling) through the limits, playing with your own money versus playing on stakes, and many other fun stories. Finally, the Lithuanian poker community and its specifics (number of low-mid stakes players, lack of streamers) are discussed.

While the target audience for the first series is MTT players, this podcast is suitable for anyone who enjoys poker as a fun activity. Casual players will be able to learn a little and find out about a career as a professional. For more experienced poker players, Tom and Mantas will talk about their floor, learning, and using the software.
