Another tournament, but the winner is the same

Another achievement of G.Bernatavičius

The Knock-Out Tournament Festival, organised by PokerioMokykla.com and Olympic Casino, continues. This time, a game of Mad Money was played where a player was awarded a €100 prize for knocking out an opponent.

A total of 83 buy-ins of €165 were collected, 22 of which were re-entries.

The game started quickly, with the first player being eliminated after the first hands.

Their numbers were rapidly dwindling, with half of the players (~40) left before the second break. Aurelijus Budrys was the first in the bonuses at that time, having already collected 7 "heads".

Last day's winner, Gytis Bernatavičius, distinguished himself by knocking three players to three on one hand and receiving a €300 prize.

On reaching the final table, blinds were 2,000/4,000/400 and players had an average chip stack of 140,000 chips. The highest stack was Liutauras Armanavičius (300k).

Then, as usual, the game slowed down and no participant was quickly eliminated. However, Andrius Baublys left the game in the bubble phase, having placed all his chips against Budrys before the flop. The blinds were 4k and 8k, and Andrius folded to Aurelius's A-K with AA when it was revealed that Aurelius had a turn.

Three more players finished their game one after the other in this level.

With 4 players remaining, the highest chip counts were held by Lutauras and Gytis Bernatavičius. The situation quickly changed with blinds of 8,000 and 16,000. At that point, Lutauras lost 400k and decided to call Aurelius' K9 with AQ. A 9 came out and the latter managed to double up.

The rest of his chips were lost when he lost to KJ against two aces he had Erikas Pakalniškis.

Next to fall was A.Budrys (8 knock-outs), who responded to Gytis's all in with A7 with QQ. The cards on the table made no difference.

Finally, with heads up at 10/20k to play, it was G.Bernatavičius versus E.Pakalniškis - 800k vs 400k chips. The fight lasted about an hour and the stakes reached 15 / 30 thousand. Finally, G.Bernatavičius decided to fold all his chips to TT, but Eric's A9 didn't save the day even after the community cards were dealt.

It was Gyitis' second win in a row, after a hard-fought victory yesterday. Well, this time he added 11 eliminated players (€1,100) to his first place win.

A total of €12,450 was paid out to players, of which €8,300 was paid out for ejecting other players.

Winners:

  1. Gytis Bernatavičius - 1316,
  2. Erikas Pakalniškis - 856,
  3. Aurelijus Budrys - 635,
  4. Liutauras Armanavičius - 448,

  6. Zydrius Tartenis - 241,
  7. Žilvinas Gaižutis - 190,
