The Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the local Milwaukee Bucks tonight at Fiserv Forum Arena in Wisconsin. The Cleveland Cavaliers played against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night and had a -11.5-point lead going into the game. Nevertheless, the Cavaliers, who played a great game, managed to defy the predictions and take home the win from San Antonio after overtime. Meanwhile, for the Milwaukee Bucks it will be their second game in two days, otherwise known as back to back. Last night, the Bucks had no problems with the Memphis Grizzlies 127-114. The Milwaukee Bucks are currently the hardest team to stop in the league with 17 consecutive wins and a total of 23 wins and only 3 losses. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the worst teams in both the Eastern Conference and the NBA league teams. The Cavaliers are 13th in the Eastern Conference with just 6 wins in 25 games.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking to continue their good run and try to, if not win, at least make a decent challenge against the strongest team in the Eastern Conference. Kevin Love shone in the game against the San Antonio Spurs, scoring 30 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Love also scored the tying shot at the end of the fourth to send the teams to overtime. Collin Sexton also had a good game and added 28 points to the win.

An interesting moment occurred in the middle of the third period, when Cleveland Cavaliers coach Job Beilein and Tristan Thompson, who plays as a heavy wing/midfielder, got into an argument. The incident took place when Thompson, in a demonstrative offensive move, did not fight for a rebound and stayed in front of the opposing basket during a fastbreak. However, the Cavaliers took the ball immediately afterwards and the same Thompson got a chance to finish the attack from under the basket. Thompson had a word with the coach after the coach asked for a timeout and didn't play again. After the game, the Cavaliers' coach "stung" Thompson when he talked to reporters and mentioned that Larry Nance gives as much to the team as Thompson, even though he is a much lower paid player.

Cleveland Cavaliers leaders:

Collin Sexton Cleveland Cavaliers

Collin Sexton - 17.8 points, 3 rebounds and 2.4 assists, these are the stats of the second-year American. Instability is one of the main problems with this player, as he can play well in one game and look like he's stepping on the floor for the first time in the next. This is understandable, of course, given that this is only his second season in the league, but there has not been much progress from his first season in terms of stability.

Kevin Love - 16.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists Many people expected Love to either be the team's main man after Lebron's departure or to be traded to another team. However, so far we don't see either, and the stats we are collecting right now on one of the weakest teams in the NBA don't look impressive.

Jordan Clarkson - 14.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists Clarkson was considered one of the team's more important players in the preseason. However, the stats he is showing are average at best, and Clarkson will have to work harder to make a name for himself in the league.

Milwaukee Bucks

Memphis Grizzlies beat Memphis Grizzlies 127-114 last night Bucks The 17th consecutive victory. They are just 3 wins short of repeating the club record of 20. Antetokounmpo continues to do whatever he wants, as few teams in the league have the potential to stop him. Against the Grizzlies, the Greek scored 17 of his 37 points in the fourth period to decide the outcome of the game. Khris Middleton added 26 points, while Brook Lopez scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, who made 6 three-pointers out of 53 attempts last season, is showing improved shooting from distance. In 24 games played so far this season, he has made 37 three-pointers out of 116 attempts, which is an accuracy of ~32%. Often criticised for his poor shooting from distance, Antetokounmpo has argued that he can improve in this area as well, so the further he goes, the more unstoppable this player becomes.

Through 26 games played this season, the Bucks lead the league in points scored/rebounds, 3.5 points ahead of their nearest rival, the Dallas Mavericks. The Bucks are averaging 101.3 points on defence while scoring 114.1 points themselves, third in the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Milwaukee Bucks

Bucks leaders:

Giannis Antetokounmpo - 31.1 points, 13.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists A definite MVP candidate again this season, Giannis continues to prove that there are no limits to his development and it is hard to imagine what kind of player he can become without stopping his progress.

Khris Middleton - 18.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists The Bucks' second most important player, who made the All-Star game last season, is also looking solid this season. Although his stats may not fully reflect his importance to the team, Middleton is definitely one of the team's leaders and his importance will grow as the playoffs approach.

Eric Bledsoe - 15 points, 4.9 rebounds The American, who is averaging 15.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, looks great on both ends of the floor this season. Bledsoe has never been a good three-point shooter, but this season he's hitting almost 35%, which is a pretty good result for a player whose strength is not really shooting from distance.

Forecast

Although this will be the second game in a row for Milwaukee, it would be hard to expect much resistance from the Cavaliers. Despite the away win against the Spurs, things seem to be going badly in Cleveland, which is only further evidenced by the conflict between coach and player. Thompson is one of the veterans of the team, whose voice is very important in the locker room, so the conflicts with this player can fuel even more in the locker room, and the mood for the next game is very doubtful. The Bucks are on their way to a historic achievement and have looked impressive at home throughout the season. The Cavaliers simply don't have the weapons to survive the Bucks, so at one point or another Milwaukee should be ahead for good.
