Tobey Maguire (actor)

Another actor who sat at the poker table with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. "The actor, who made his name in the Spider-Man movie, last won a tournament in 2007, when he finished 38th at the WSOP for almost $40,000.

However, according to rumours, T.Maguire is a beast at cash games. His games with Damon and Affleck have been extremely profitable. It is said that while these stars were clashing, the actor was making a million a month playing poker (see first article). It is estimated that Maguire could have won as much as 40 million US dollars in all that time! Not bad, right?

The formerly famous footballer is now in his fifties and his career with Nottingham Forrest, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and the England national team is now behind him.

Until 2012, Sheringham was more often seen in poker events, both on the European tour and at the WSOP in Las Vegas. In this formal poker career, he managed to win more than $300,000. His biggest win was €93,000 for 5th place in the European Poker Tour Vilamoura Main Event in 2010. Sheringham has been absent from the poker tables lately.

The fairer sex also tests their skills in high-level competitions. One of them is "American Pie" star Sh.Elizabeth. She is a frequent guest at the Las Vegas gambling house. It was rumoured that the actress used to play poker there up to three times a month.

Her last official event was in 2013, when she finished 165th in the Seminole Hard Rock 2013 Poker Open in Hollywood for over $11,000. Sh.Elizabeth's best performance came in 2007 in a heads up event in Las Vegas, where she finished 3rd and won $125,000.
