Croatia's start to Euro 2020 was not as successful as expected, losing 1-0 to England. The match against the Slovaks was a breakthrough game, where chances were finally converted and the game looked much more lively, as expected before the championship. Of course, the Slovak team is certainly not the kind of opponent that would make the Spaniards favourites to win the championship again, but it is a good step forward to improve their game.
