Astralis
Astralis is a well-known name to e-sports fans, but will only be making his first foray into the League of Legends scene this season. Astralis and Origen have joined the Astralis Group, which has announced that it is merging all activities and e-sports teams under the Astralis brand. However, while Astralis will make its debut in this year's tournament and will take Origen's place on the team, the only player left from last year's Origen line-up is Mid position player Nukeduck.

This team's game will definitely revolve around the veteran Nukeduck, who has been considered one of the best individual players in the league for many years. This player has proven time and time again that he can play practically any championship and do it at a high level. It will also be interesting to watch LEC debutant Zanzarah, a Jungler. The 24-year-old has signed a long-term contract, as if to show how much the organisation trusts this newcomer. Zanzarah was undoubtedly the best looking Jungler in the Polish League and one of the best Junglers in the EU Masters, so it is to be hoped that he will be able to show his high level of play in the LEC tournament as well.
All in all, it is quite clear that there are more questions than answers in this team. It is not clear what the newcomers will look like. Although they are all individually quite capable players, it might take some time to get used to the strength of the league, which is certainly higher than the EU Masters or the local leagues. If WhiteKnight has LEC experience, Zanzarah has none, and Jeskla and promisq are probably among the weakest players in their positions in the league. This is the team's debut season, so it would be naive to expect anything spectacular.
SK Gaming
SK Gaming is one of the oldest e-sports organisations in Europe and, unlike Astralis, has been on the League of Legends scene since 2010.Although the organisation has seen its fair share of hot and cold during its existence, this season is likely to be one of the worst. Crownshot, the team's main player and face of the team, has left the team, Trick, the Jungler, has retired, and ZaZee and LIMIT have not had their contracts renewed.

The only remaining player from last season is Jenax, a Top position player. There is no doubt that a player with a lot of potential will get a lot of chances to prove himself this season, as the team's game should be oriented towards the top half of the map. Tynx, Blue, Jezu, Treatz - players who joined the team in the off-season but have absolutely no LEC experience. While Treatz has experience in the NA LCS, Jezu Tynx and Blue haven't played in the big leagues, so it's a big question mark as to how they will fare.
SK Gaming could potentially be classified as league average, but will have to earn that status this season as the LEC is getting stronger every year. It wouldn't be surprising if this SK Gaming line-up doesn't live up to expectations and doesn't make the playoffs, and ends the spring season after the group stage.
Forecast
This game is between two of this season's LEC underdogs, who have a hard time reaching the playoffs. However, Astralis' players have more experience at the top level and should have an advantage in the first match against one of the youngest teams in the league. The bookmakers slightly underestimate Astralis with odds of 2.1 for this victory, while SK Gaming is only 1.75.
