Asia Poker Tour Incheon breaks South Korean record with 1,281 entries in Main Event

"The Asian Poker Tour's streak of success continues unabated, with APT Incheon breaking records in South Korea.

The Main Event recorded a record 1,281 entries, making it the biggest Asian Poker Tour tournament ever held in Korea. This consisted of 206 online qualifiers and 81 players who showed up on Day 2.

Due to the huge number of entries, the prize pool was KRW 2 766 660 000, which is approximately USD 2 million.

This was much more than the guaranteed KRW 1 billion. 191 players will win the money and the winner will receive KRW 483 890 000, which is approximately USD 349 885.

The last few contenders will join the Day 3 online leg and they will all try to secure a seat at the final table on August 9.
