Laurynas Levinskas advanced through the second day of the “€25K High Roller” and will compete at the main table

Laurynas, having successfully overcome challenges and being the chip leader for most of the day, will return today to compete at the “€25K High Roller” final table for a €809,930 cash prize.

The EPT tournament series continues in Monte Carlo, and in the EPT Monte Carlo “€25K High Roller” tournament, Lithuanian Laurynas Levinskas is showcasing his excellent poker skills. As we wrote yesterday, Laurynas won a qualifier to enter this tournament and, after overcoming the starting day, made it among the 56 players. Yesterday, on the second day, the compatriot did not slow down and, being the chip leader for most of the day, reached the Final Table of this tournament.

When the tournament reached three tables, Laurynas had the largest chip stack of 600,000, followed closely by poker legend Erik Seidel with 590,000 chips. Here is how the seating looked with three tables remaining:

As soon as the action began, Laurynas found AA in his hand. His opponent Koray Aldemir opened to 12,000 from the UTG position, and Dietrich Fast just called. Laurynas Levinskas raised to 50,000 from the SB, and Aldemir quickly folded his cards. The remaining Dietrich, without thinking, shoved his remaining chips, and Laurynas called.

Dietrich Fast: AhKc

The community cards revealed 9s5s5d7c4d and the opponent was sent to the exit.

A little later, during the bubble phase, Richard Yong shoved all his chips, 105,000, from the dealer position, and Laurynas, who had the largest chip stack, also shoved his chips from the SB.

The community cards revealed Tc3d2d2h9d and without finding an ace, Yong was eliminated from the tournament just before the money, leaving the remaining 20 players guaranteed €43,870 each.

With two tables remaining, Laurynas was still the leader:

Continuing the battle, Laurynas eliminated another opponent, Canadian Mike Watson. It all started when Mike limped from the SB, and Laurynas raised to 50,000 from the BB, and Mike called. The community cards revealed AhKc7d and both players checked to see 8d. Mike checked, and Laurynas bet 100,000. Mike didn't give up and called. On the final card, both saw Qd. Mike checked for the third time, and the Lithuanian pushed 330,000. Mike had only 255,000 left and after some thought, he called. Laurynas revealed 8s8h, leaving Watson to fold and exit the tournament in 13th place with a €59,060 cash prize.

At the start of the final table, Laurynas was still the leader:

The Lithuanian, at the start of the action at the final table, at one point rose to 1,650,000 chips, but by the time of the last hand of the day, Laurynas lost a huge pot when Sergio Aido raised to 36,000 and got a call from the Lithuanian and Marton Czuczor. The player sitting just before the dealer position woke up and shoved all his chips, 467,000. Everyone folded until it was Laurynas' turn, who also shoved all his chips.
