WSOP 2026 kicks off live streaming of high-stakes cash games

the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is likely to be more exciting than ever before - with some really significant changes.

Fans of high-stakes cash games should take note of what's happening this summer.

Along with the usual live tournaments, the WSOP in Las Vegas will introduce a brand new live poker programme.

This is the WSOP High Stakes Live event. Many well-known players will be competing in big cash games, and the streams will show them live from the thick of the action.

A new round of high-stakes poker broadcasts

“The Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas will be home to the largest stakes live poker events produced by NSUS Group and High Stakes Poker Productions.

These events are planned as a result of a partnership between the two companies, made possible in 2025 when NSUS Group invested in the production company.

More collaborative initiatives are planned for the future.

This is a completely new project for both parties involved.

The aim is to provide the audience with high-stakes cash games during one of the busiest poker seasons.

The live-streamed high-stakes cash games will take place at the Horseshoe Casino in June and July this year, right next to the main WSOP tournament tables.

This set-up will allow fans to jump right into the action during the anticipated busy summer.

Three weekends of big games

WSOP High Stakes Live will take place over three weekends in June.

From 5 June to 20 June, live-streamed high-stakes cash games will be staged a total of six times in six separate sessions.

In addition to the high stakes broadcasts on the weekends, Hustler Casino Live will maintain its normal schedule of broadcasts from Monday to Thursday. So poker fans will be able to watch their favourite shows every day.

The exact purchase amounts have not yet been confirmed, but the level of expectation is already very high.

According to producer Ryan Feldman, most of the planned games are expected to be purchased for between USD 50 000 and USD 100 000.

So fans can expect a lot of money on the table, and the intensity of the action will match the top-tier poker broadcasts they are used to.

“The return of the Million Dollar Game

Perhaps the biggest surprise of all is the news of the return of the much-loved event.

Earlier this year, Mega Cash Mania replaced the Million Dollar Game, and there was some doubt as to whether the game would return at all. Now those doubts have been put to rest.

“The Million Dollar Game is returning to WSOP High Stakes Live for the fourth time on 12 June.

This time, however, the game will not take place in Los Angeles as in previous years, but at a WSOP event in Las Vegas.

This change of venue makes perfect sense. Many of the world's best players will already be in town for the series – so this could become one of the biggest cash game line-ups in history.

In addition, fans will have the opportunity to see the best players in the world competing in the same venue.

The poker world follows Las Vegas

In previous years, Hustler Casino Live has temporarily suspended operations while the WSOP is held.

The logic was simple: with virtually all of the top players competing in Las Vegas, it was becoming extremely difficult to build a quality line-up in Los Angeles.

However, 2026 marks a reversal of this trend.

Instead of waiting until after the WSOP, Hustler is taking its show straight to the Horseshoe – where it will have access to the huge pool of players rato already at the WSOP event.

Feldman mentioned a few names that could appear on the show – Alanas Keating, Santhosh Suvarna and Phong “Turbo” Nguyen.

Visa the line-up has not yet been confirmed, but Hustler Live's reputation for producing one of poker's most entertaining shows certainly raises expectations high.

A test run for a bigger project

The start of this new project may lead to future developments.

As Feldman hinted, WSOP High Stakes Live will serve as a pilot for a larger project – one that could grow from a single show into several shows or even a series that travels to the biggest poker events in the world.

If the WSOP experiment proves successful, the high-stakes broadcasts are likely to reach other stops on the poker calendar around the world.

For all poker fans, this format gives them more opportunities to watch the biggest cash games featuring their favourite players.

The positive momentum that is building towards the 2026 WSOP will be further enhanced with the addition of WSOP High Stakes Live.

This summer will not only feature competitive tournaments, but also some of the most exciting cash games ever seen live.
