The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) festival has started on the island of the Bahamas, beginning this year with the $25,000 buy-in PokerStars Hold'em Players Championship (PSPC). This tournament has already broken a record, as 1040 players registered for such a buy-in tournament. PokerStars contributed significantly to this record by distributing 320 packages through various promotions. Adding up all the buy-ins and the additional million dollars added for the winner by PokerStars, the total prize pool amounted to $26.5 million.
After the second day, 207 players remained in the tournament, with 181 places paid. Yesterday, six Lithuanian representatives started on the second day: Dominykas Karmazinas, Tomas Jozonis, Laurynas Levinskas, Vladas Tamašauskas, Jonas Ramanauskas, and Matas Cimbolas. Three of them managed to advance to the third day. Jonas Ramanauskas was eliminated with A♣6♦ against A♠J♠ when the flop revealed A♥6♠5♠. He pushed all his chips, but unfortunately lost when the remaining two cards gave his opponent a flush. The next Lithuanian to fall was Matas Cimbolas, who pushed all his chips with T♦9♣ on a 7♦8♠3♣ flop with an open-ended straight draw. Unfortunately, his opponent called with QQ, and the remaining two cards did not help Matas. The first day's leader among Lithuanians, Dominykas Karmazinas, was also forced to exit the tournament.
Three Lithuanians remain in the tournament: Tomas Jozonis, who ended the day with 324,000 chips, Vladas Tamašauskas with 119,000, and Laurynas Levinskas with 117,000.
