This year, the popular poker streamer lost more than $350,000. Rampage is well known for his relentless aggression and unique tactics in high-stakes games.

Things didn't get any better in the World Series of Poker Main Event. His staggeringly high losses per hour now stand at $850. Yau was eliminated on day one after failing to survive in any level.

Just three weeks into the WSOP, Rampage admitted he was “ready to quit” last month. Worst of all, the decline is not over.

He calls this year – losing in cash games

Although Yau hasn't fared particularly well in tournaments, most of his losses this year have come in high-stakes cash games.

At the beginning of May, he had lost more than $300,000. Later that month, Yau felt hopeful after a brief $40,000 profit.

However, the situation quickly deteriorated when the summer streak began. 2025 m.

The first few months have been the toughest, especially in cash games. Before the WSOP, Yau was already deep in debt and was hoping to turn things around.

That change never came. No one is ruling out the possibility that Yau will experience ups and downs this year. In response to Rampage's tweet, Matt Berkey, another professional poker player who participates in high-stakes cash games, said that he has lost almost $1.5 million this year.

Rampage disappointed with WSOP

Yau played in many tournaments this year, such as WSOP events, the Wynn Summer Classic and DeepStack games at the Venetian, but only won $182,925.

That's the lowest amount he's won in a game since he started playing MTTs more frequently in 2021. According to Hendon Mob, he made a big breakthrough this summer when he won more than $3 million in live tournaments throughout his career.

This figure does not reflect the full truth as it does not include tournament buy-ins and travel expenses.

Tough, but the fight goes on

In the meantime, Rampage continues to work hard, chronicling his successes and failures and being open to his fans.

While the numbers are poor, the margins are huge and the results speak for themselves, one of the things that makes Yau so respected in the poker world is that he is always willing to share anything, even the bad.
