Kabrhel’s incredible comeback – he wins the $30,000 Super High Roller

Martin Kabrahel's number of victories in 2025 is only increasing. This year, the Czech pro has already made eight final tables and won four titles.

He bounced back from a huge chip loss to win the $30,000 no-limit hold 'em event at the Brazilian Poker Super High Roller Series. It was probably his most impressive win to date.

Kabrhel's victory earned him $422,000, bringing his career winnings to 16.3 million. $. His 29 cashes in 2025 brought him more than $3.3 million. $.

At the start of the year, he won a โ‚ฌ15,000 pot-limit Omaha tournament.

Later, he won two more World Series of Poker titles, this time in the Mini Main Event for $843,140 and the โ‚ฌ10,000 pot-limit Omaha mystery bounty at WSOP Europe for $220,545.

A small field with big names

the $30,000 Super High Roller attracted 44 entries and a prize pool of $1,320,000. Eight players made the money, including several well-known names.

Rodrigo Seiji finished third for $186,000 and Andre Akkari finished fourth for $142,000.

Estonian pro Ottomar Ladva eliminated Seiji with a strong 3:1 chip lead over Kabrhel.

Ladva had the chip lead early on and even won a big pot with a queen hand, reducing Kabrhel's chip lead to just 725,000.

At that point, the odds were almost 14:1, and the game seemed almost over.

The turn that changed everything

Kabrhel refused to give up. His first hand back was a double raise with K-7 against Ladva's 10-5 of the same suit.

This double raise meant that he was only ten big blinds behind, which gave him some breathing space.

Soon after, the situation quickly changed. Ladva made an all-in from the button with Aโ™ฅ4โ™ฆ, and Kabrhel had Kโ™ Kโ™ฃ in the big blind.

Kabrhel's pair of kings held and he won a huge pot. This significantly reduced Ladva's chip lead, and suddenly the pressure was on Ladva.

As the game progressed, Kabrhel slowly moved into first place, and soon Ladwa's huge chip stack disappeared.

The final blow

Ladva lost more than ten big blinds by the last hand. Ladva called from the big blind with Qโ™ฃ7โ™ฆ, trying to catch up with Kabrhel who bet all in with 3โ™ฆ3โ™ฆ.

With the table showing Aโ™ฃ10โ™ฃ6โ™ฆ4โ™ฃ4โ™ฆ, Kabrhel had the best hand and won another title for his incredible performance in 2025.

Ladva finished second and won $292,000, the third largest cash prize of his career. His second place finish boosted his lifetime earnings to more than $3.6 million.

Kabrhel has enjoyed tremendous success in tournaments. in 2025, he had four victories and earned more than $3.3 million this year alone.

Based on his results so far, he is on his way to one of his best seasons yet.
