We are hitting live, not online!

Hello again after a long break! This time it so happened that I was supposed to post an entry two weeks ago, but waking up that Monday and reading pokernews, I saw that the Spring Poker Cup was happening in Kaunas. I decided to replace blogging with live poker, and in this case, I didn't regret it 😉 In the €165 Terminator tournament that took place that day, we split the money when there were four of us left (after the split, I got more than the second place prize) and continued playing for the trophy. When it came down to heads-up, we both had around 25bb~, and I flopped two pairs while my opponent had a straight, and I couldn't beat it on the turn 😉 After this rather successful tour, I decided to try my luck in a few more tournaments, namely the €110 Turbo and the €200 Main Event, where unfortunately, luck was not on my side 🙂 Especially disappointing was the Main Event, where a few levels before the end of the first day, my AQ couldn't hold up against my opponent's T8o in a 50~ bb pot preflop 🙂

(prizes do not indicate that I also collected 6 heads worth €50 each)

Tournament Prize Winners:

1 – Donatas Dapkevičius – €820 (+€250 bonus)
2 – Marius Abelkis – €1035
3 – Arūnas Garunkštis – €820
4 – Paulius Lipskis – €830
5 – Edgaras Rajauskas – €328
6 – Andrius Draugelis – €270

Speaking of online poker, I understand that this blog is not about personal life, but for the past probably six months, I've had a huge headache (figuratively speaking), which really hindered me from sitting down to play poker properly and distracted me while playing. This was also one of the bigger reasons for avoiding playing, but at the beginning of last week, I finally managed to resolve it! And I really missed online poker; now when I sit down to play, every spot seems interesting, and there's no more robotic button pressing, everything looks different 🙂 One poker player I met in Cambodia, who has achieved more in poker than all the players I know, said very well on this topic: “To achieve something in poker, you need to burn with the desire to play and enjoy playing, not think about the money.” As banal as it sounds, I now understand what he meant because, from most players, after every session, you only hear “I hate poker” or “I'm going to England to work in a factory” 🙂 Speaking of last month's results, it will sound cliché, but I managed to go deep in a few good tournaments with 1k+ on top (Big Bang Winamax 9, 24th place), 3 final tables on 888 with around 500~ on top, but I never managed to close, and 888 didn't track 2 final tables, even though there wasn't much money, maybe 300-400, but it would still make the graph look a bit nicer. Does anyone know how to report missing games on SharkScope for 888 poker? Because there's no option to select 888 poker in the report missing game function 🙂 I also promised a long time ago to upload a session gameplay video, which I still haven't managed to do, but I promise to include it in the next report! The next report should be of the same type as I used to do in Cambodia, in video format, but this time from Copenhagen. That's all for now, good luck to everyone playing in the upcoming Winamax series!
