Yu gi oh game - pI am glad!

In addition to your existing Yu Gi oh deck, you will need a few extra items to help you play. So you will need a coin, as some cards will require you to flip a coin and take into account which side of the coin the coin will face; dice, as some cards will require you to roll a die; and some small countable items, such as tokens or checkers, to act as a sort of metric. Monster chips may also be needed, but these are mostly for hardcore fans of the game.

Additional features can be added to the game, but are not essential, such as a score counter, card sleeves to protect the cards, and a game map to help you sort the cards into the correct zones during the game.

The best online casinos offer the following games:

Decks of cards

Each player must have three different types of "Yu-Gi-Oh!" decks to play successfully:

Main deck

The main deck must contain between 40 and 60 cards. Tip - keep your deck close to at least 40 cards so that you can discard the best cards later. Also, keep in mind that your deck cannot contain more than 3 copies of the same card.

Extra deck

An additional deck of Synchro and Fusion Monsters cards is available for use during the game if required. This deck can contain between 0 and 15 cards and is not considered to be the main deck of the game.

Side deck

The side deck also contains one separate set of 0 to 15 cards (not included in the main deck), which you can use against your opponents and/or in a combat situation. Players have the option of exchanging any card from the side deck to the main deck after each duel, provided that the exchange does not change the number of cards in both decks.

Cemetery cards should be arranged in the order in which they are sent there and this order should not be changed.
  • "In the Deck area, each player keeps a basic, face-down deck of cards. Players draw cards from their decks in this area.

Yugioh keras and traps

The main difference between spell (spell) and traps (Trap is the fact that spells are usually used to strengthen an attack, in other words, to make it more powerful, and traps are used to interrupt an opponent's attacks. In addition, trap cards must be kept on the battlefield and cannot be used in the same turn, whereas spell cards can be activated in the same turn. Spell cards are green.

Each spell card is different and has different powers:

  • Normal spells ( Normal spell) can only be used once and sent to the cemetery after use. These are simple but very powerful spells that cannot be destroyed and can only be decontaminated. Spells are activated by turning the card face up on the battlefield. The specific effect of the card is described on the card.
  • Ritual spells (Ritual spell is a spell designed to summon a ritual monster. The card is also sent to the graveyard.
  • Unbreakable spells (A Continuous spell is a spell card that has a continuous effect until it is destroyed. These cards remain on the battlefield and have a long-lasting, permanent effect on the game. This effect can be positive for the player or negative for his opponent.
  • Protective spells ( Equip spell) are thrown at the monster to give it extra attributes or even points. These are also armouring spells that last until the monster is removed from the game.
  • Quick spells ( Quick-play spell) are fast-acting spells that can be activated during the opponent's turn. These are special spells that can be played on any turn.
  • The spell of combat ( Field spell) are spells that work on the battlefield of the game, adding extra points or extra attributes to monsters. Important! These spells can only be played in the battlefield area and only once - if the player or his opponent casts a new spell, the old spell is immediately void.

As with spells, there is a wide variety of spells and spastics, although this type of card is the least common. Traps can be activated at any time except during the same turn when the card is placed face down (Cards cannot be dealt face up!).

*These Yu gi oh cards the cards are dark pink.

  • Normal traps (Normal trap - a simple trap that, like normal spells, is used once and sent to the graveyard.
  • A continuous trap (Continuous trap is a continuous, long-lasting spell card that works until it is destroyed. This trap is perfect for limiting your opponent's options and sometimes even reducing his points. As long as the card is face up, the trap will work.
  • Brake traps (Counter trap). When other spells or traps are triggered, these cards can negate the effect of those cards.

Summoning the monsters

To use your monster cards, you must first summon them. Some summoning actions are simple, others require more steps and discarding of cards. The types of card summoning are:

  • Normal summons (Normal Summon). Here, monsters are summoned simply by playing cards face-up on the battlefield, without requiring any special actions or cards.
  • Call to tribute (Tribute Summon). This summons is used to summon monsters of level 5 or higher. It is a summon where one of your monsters is given to the graveyard as a sacrifice or tribute. So, to get a level 5 or 6 monster, you have to sacrifice one, and to get a level 7 or higher monster, you have to send as many as two of your monsters to the graveyard.
  • Inverted summons (Flip Summon). In this summon, monsters are summoned with their cards face down in an attack.
  • Special summonses (Special Summon). There are no restrictions on the battlefield when you choose to Special Summon a monster - you can decide whether you want to face the monster face-up or face-down, in an attack or defence position.

Special summonses are arranged in order of strength as follows:

  1. Simultaneous summoning (Synchro Summon is only possible with a Synchro Monster which, as mentioned above, is made by combining 1 Tuner and 1 Normal or Effect monster.
  2. Sthe call for connection (Fusion Summon is only performed with a Fusion Monster, after the Polymerisation and Fusion Material Monster cards have been sent to the graveyard.
  3. Ritual invocation (Ritual Summon is performed with a Ritual Monster and the corresponding Ritual Spell and Tribute cards.

Preparing for the game

Each Yu-Gi-Oh match consists of 3 duels. During a duel, each player starts with 8000 life points and the winner is declared in one of the following ways:

  1. The competitor's score is reduced to 0.
  2. If your opponent does not have a matching card to discard.
  3. After using the card's special effect.

According to the agreement, players must do the following before starting a duel:

  • Shuffle your own and your opponent's (not necessarily) decks of cards;
  • Place all face-down decks of cards in the designated areas of the playing field;
  • Count the cards in the opponent's side deck;
  • If the duel is the first, cast lots or "wax" to see who will start the move first;
  • Draw the first 5 cards from the main deck.

Game on - yu gi oh rules!

Each duel consists of 6 phases:

Phase 1. Engagement (Draw Phase). In this phase, each player draws a card to allow other players to activate Trap or Quick-Play Spells.

Phase 2. Standby (Standby Phase). In this phase, penalties are paid and all effects are used.

Phase 3. Main 1 (Main Phase 1). Here the player can summon or discard a monster card, change the monster's attack position, activate a card or effect and/or discard Spell or Trap cards.

Phase 4. Battle (Battle Phase). In this phase, you can stop the game or continue playing. If you choose to continue playing, you must do the following:

  • Shout "I'm in the battle!" (if a player starts first, he/she cannot participate in the battle in the first round).
  • Choose a monster and a target. You can only make an attack to take away a player's points if your opponent has no monsters on the field. Each monster is only allowed one attack per game.
  • Count the counter points.
  • Always tell your opponent if you want to end an attack.

There are 3 different attack cards (types) on the battlefield:

  1. Attack with a face-up card (Face-up Attack). In this attack, the monster can announce an attack as well as be attacked. The number on the card indicates the point value of the attack. Abbreviation ATK.
  2. Defence with a face-up card (Face-up Defence). In this attack, the monster cannot declare an attack but can defend itself. The number on the card indicates the point value of the defence. A normal monster cannot be summoned in this attack unless the card has special rules. Abbreviation DEF.
  3. Defence with a face-down card (Face-down defence). The same defence as face-up, but in this case the monster can be summoned but cannot use this card. If the face-down monster is attacked, the card is turned face-up and damage points are counted. Abbreviation DEF.

Who won?

Each monster has its own attack and defence position points. A card can be in one of these positions. When attacking one monster with another monster's card, the monster with the highest number of position points wins.

Attack against attack

  • When your monster's ATK value is higher than your opponent's ATK value, your opponent's monster is sent to the graveyard and the higher ATK value is deducted from your opponent's life points.
  • When both monsters have the same ATK value, both monsters are sent to the graveyard.
  • When your monster's ATK value is less than your opponent's ATK value, your monster is sent to the graveyard and the amount of the ATK value overage is deducted from your life points.

Attack against defence

  • When your monster's ATK value is higher than your opponent's DEF value, your opponent's monster is sent to the graveyard and no Life Points are damaged.
  •  When the ATK and DEF of both monsters are equal, neither monster is destroyed.
  • When your monster's ATK value is less than your opponent's DEF value, the amount of the excess DEF value is subtracted from your life points. The monster also remains alive.

Phase 5. Main phase 2 (Main Phase 2). The same actions as in Phase 1 are performed, unless a monster has already been summoned or chosen.

Phase 6. Final (End Phase). Use card effects and discard cards if more than 6 cards are in hand.

Card effects (circuit)

Each time a card with an effect is activated, the opponent is given the opportunity to counter and use their effect. If the latter is unwilling or unable to counter with the corresponding card, the first player may activate a new effect and start a new game cycle again until both players decide to finish. As players keep adding new effects, the following effects are created chain.

If you want to respond to an effect and create a chain, you must play the stronger effect card. The effect speed of each card is between 1 and 3: How to play yu gi oh in Lithuanian

  • Ignition, Trigger and Flip effects

2 cards of medium effect:
