Indeed, the team's debut in the LCK was quite good, making it to the playoffs and almost representing the LCK in the World Cup. However, this season has been a complete disaster, and the team is now fighting not for a playoff spot, as usual, but for survival in the league.<\/p>\n<p>The main reasons for such a poor season are undoubtedly the changes in the team's starting lineup. Dove (Mid-lane), Ghost (Adc), and Joker (Support) are no longer with the team. Both Ghost and Joker were the main &#8220;shot-callers&#8221; of the team, i.e., the players who make decisions during matches. They were replaced by FATE (Mid-lane), who was a substitute last season, Route (Adc), and GorillA (Support). However, it quickly became evident that none of this trio reached the level demonstrated by the players who represented the team last season, leading to poor results.<\/p>\n<p>This season, it is very difficult to understand what kind of game SANDBOX wants to demonstrate. In one series, they try to play with a strong early-game composition, but after gaining an advantage, it is often squandered, and in the mid-late game stage, the chances of winning with such a composition are very low. This team made an impressive debut in the LCK league and continuously impressed every LoL fan. An aggressive playstyle, interesting champion selections, and impressive team coordination in the game yielded great results. Griffin not only consistently ranked among the top LCK teams but also participated in the World Cup a couple of times, and although they didn't win anything significant there, it cannot be underestimated.<\/p>\n<p>What happened that one of the best LCK teams became the worst team in the league in just a few months? It was not due to player changes, lack of talent, or anything else, but internal organizational problems. At the end of last season, internal scandals within this team began to surface one after another, including issues with the team's coach, CvMax, who had led the team to the top of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Even after changing the lineup and adding Ucal (Mid-lane) and Wadid (Support) instead of Chovy (Mid-lane) and Lehends (Support), the Griffin team still looks strong &#8220;on paper.&#8221; It is easy to imagine that the poor results of the team are precisely the result of internal problems, and only by solving them and allowing the players to focus solely on their game, Griffin can hope for success again.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"H2H\"><\/span>H2H<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This season, in two head-to-head matches, both teams shared a victory each.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Prediction\"><\/span>Prediction<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Neither team has shown the expected results this season, so one of them will have to return to the second-tier championship next season.
