"KINGS OF TALLINN FESTIVAL, LITHUANIA DID BETTER IN SIDE TOURNAMENTS
The region's biggest poker series, Kings of Tallinn, has finished in the Estonian capital, and usually attracts at least a few dozen Lithuanian poker masters. This year, our players failed to reach the main event finals, but showed some solid results in the side events.

THE BIGGEST LITHUANIAN ACHIEVEMENT - HIGH ROLLER FINAL
February established Vince Tamašauskas as the Baltic High Roller specialist. After triumphing a couple of weeks ago Betsafe In the Fisherman's Challenge €1K High Roller battle at the weekend, he scored another five-figure win in the most expensive Kings of Tallinn battle.

In total, players made 68 €3,000 buy-ins in the €184,000 prize pool at the Kings of Tallinn Festival High Roller. The prizes were shared among the 7 strongest players, including V.Tamashauskas. The Lithuanian finished in 4th place for €18,400, while the Dutch winner, Teun Mulder, collected an impressive €62,700.

The Betsafe Fisherman's Challenge €1,000 High Roller on February 7 saw 52 buy-ins, where V.Tamashauskas took the trophy and the €16,100 top prize. In the final duel, he defeated another well-known poker pro, Gytis Lažauninkas.

4 LITHUANIANS TOOK HOME THE MAIN TOURNAMENT PRIZES
The €1,100 Main Event is usually the most popular event at Kings of Tallinn, with 375 buy-ins this time. Around half a dozen Lithuanians also tried their hand here, with six of them making it through to Day 3, when the fate of the 34 winners was decided.

Vasilijus Piskunovas and Aleksandras Rusinovas left the competition before the bubble burst, while the remaining 4 Lithuanian representatives won prizes but failed to make any serious inroads. Martynas Račinskas (28th place) and Edvinas Urnikis (25th place) won €2,740 each, while Paulius Jucys (24th place) and Edgaras Kancaitis (17th place) took home €2,950.

The tournament champion was Latvian Vitalijs Zavarotnijs, who won €85,300.
