Part II of the series of articles

Kevin Pollack (actor)

Actor and comedian known for films such as Casino (which, by the way, we have already written about HERE), A Few Good Men, Beverly Hills Cop, etc. He is also known as an active poker player, competing against other Hollywood stars.

He didn't make much of a mark in official tournaments, finishing 134th in the 2012 WSOP Main Event for just over $50,000.

Rafael Nadal plays poker

Raffi Nadal (athlete)

The tennis star is no longer the highest-ranked player in the world, but he has certainly become a tennis legend who has won many top-level events. Rafa is now 31 years old, but even at the peak of his career, he used to find time to play in poker events.

Unlike other celebrities, Nadal does not have any tournament wins in his poker database, but he did manage to win a charity event at the EPT Prague Festival quite confidently. He then managed to beat Daniel Negreanu, Brazilian football star Ronaldo, Fatima Moriera de Melo and Andrei Shevchenko. After this win, he was able to donate €50,000 to the charity of his choice.

Rafa has also been named a PokerStars TV Ambassador.

Nadal started playing poker with friends in Mallorca. The tennis player says that the psychological aspect of both poker and tennis is very similar.

Jason Alexander playing poker

Jason Alexander (actor)

A film star of a slightly earlier generation, best known for the TV series Seinfeld, but also starring in Hachi: A Dog's Tale and many other films and TV series. Alexander's biggest win came in 2010, when he finished in 5th place on the WSOP Circuit in Atlantic City for almost $17,000.

Although there are no records of him playing in official tournaments in the database since then, he can still be seen at the poker table from time to time.

James Woods playing poker

James Woods (actor)

The 67-year-old actor and producer is a WSOP regular who has probably encountered the same problem that everyone who has played the WSOP has.

The first official record of an event dates back to 2004, but Woods has been competing regularly at the poker table since then. In 13 years, he has played in 61 tournaments in the US.

However, the biggest success was achieved in February 2006, when L.A. He finished 24th in the L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles for nearly $40,000.

While most of the celebrities mentioned in this column have been playing less official events lately, the same is certainly not true for Mr Woods, who has already played in 5 tournaments in 2017 alone.
